Commerce Township is committed to protecting the waters of the State that are present within the Township in the forms of its rivers, lakes and streams. It is very important that all residents of the community be aware of how the actions in their daily life affect the waters where we live. Be it washing your car, fertilizing your grass, cutting your lawn or changing the oil in a vehicle, if not done properly these actions can result in negative impacts on our waterways. Commerce Township wants all its residents to be stewards for the generations to follow, and by protecting our waterway is a great way of doing this.
