A bit about Emily England, Director of Parks and Recreation: "The Commerce Township Community has a genuine sense of connection that comes from people simply coming together. Our focus is to Bring community together through healthy recreation and social activities for all ages and abilities.
Emily England serves as the Director of Parks and Recreation and Senior Services for the township, where she is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents of all ages. With over 21 years of service to the community, she brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of the township’s needs.
In her role, Emily oversees the development and maintenance of parks, recreational programs, and senior services that promote health, wellness, and community connection. She is committed to creating inclusive, accessible, and engaging opportunities for residents, and works closely with staff, local organizations, and community members to continually improve programs and facilities.
Emily’s leadership focuses on fostering vibrant public spaces, supporting active lifestyles, and providing meaningful resources for older adults. She is passionate about building a welcoming environment where residents can connect and thrive.
In her personal time, Emily enjoys riding horses and spending time outdoors."
