Fire

The Commerce Township Fire Department consists of 1 Chief, 2 Deputy Chief’s (Training and EMS) 1 Fire Marshal, 36 career firefighters, and 10 paid-on-call firefighters. We provide fire suppression and emergency medical services (EMS) to both Commerce and Wolverine Lake. Operating out of four fire stations, each equipped with an engine and an ALS-licensed ambulance, our fleet also includes a tanker, a 100’ aerial tower, a rescue boat trailer, a command truck, and a utility truck.

Our EMS system provides Advanced Life Support (paramedic) level care with full transport capabilities to area hospitals. Our firefighters train daily to maintain and improve their skills, holding themselves to a high standard of integrity in service to our community.
