The Charter Township of Commerce is governed by a Township Board elected by the residents of the Township. The Township Board is comprised of seven members: the Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and four Trustees. The Supervisor chairs Township Board meetings and oversees the general operations of Township government, including the administration and coordination of Township staff and departments. The Supervisor also works to implement the direction and policies established by the Township Board and ensure the effective delivery of municipal services.
Regular meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
