Commerce Township will begin construction on Union Lake Road just south of Cooley Lake Road starting October 2024. The project will include the construction of a new driveway approach at Union Lake Road, a 700 square yard parking lot, 400 square feet of sidewalks, the ADA compliant kayak launch, and grading. The paving is planned to be completed before the end of November 2024, and the dock will be installed in the Spring of 2025. There will be periodic traffic control along Union Lake during construction.
