Work has begun the on the construction of 1,600 feet of concrete pathway along South Commerce Road and West Commerce Road and approximately 250 feet of boardwalk with a landing to cross the wetland area between the Commerce Township Community Library and the intersection of South Commerce Road and Carroll Lake Road. The western area near Byers Farm is currently under construction, with the replacement of the stairs at the existing bridge with ramps. The remaining construction is scheduled to be completed before June 2026.
