Court Rules
Hours: 8AM to Dusk
- Courts are for Pickleball use only. Other activities such as tennis, hockey and all wheeled activities (ie. skating, biking, remote control cars, etc.) are prohibited.
- Courts are open to the public from 8AM - Dusk, with the exception of during scheduled Commerce Township Parks & Recreation programming.
- Proper attire is required. Black soled shoes are prohibited. Please check shoes for rocks before entering the courts.
- No alcoholic beverages, glass, pets or food permitted on courts.
- Children under the age of 12 must have supervision.
- Players should demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect of others at all times. Unsportsmanlike behavior and vulgar language will not be tolerated.
- It is unlawful for any person to conduct lessons for profit on these courts or run tournaments outside of Commerce Township programming.

Pickleball Court rotation
All games are to be played to 11, during busy times (when 2 or more paddles are waiting) the following rotational rules will apply.
Limit of 1 game during busy times.
- Place your paddle in the appropriate rack according to your level.
- When more than 2 players are waiting, the first group of 4 (doubles) or 2 (singles) will take a court.
- When all paddle racks are being used, the rotation system starts with the beginner rack and progresses to advanced as groups take a court. Once the next group (2 or 4) takes the court, the orange marker ball is progressed to the next level.
- If a single player is in the paddle rack and does not have 1 or 3 players available, the next group (2 or 4) will take the court.
- All parties must be present and able to take the court immediately.
