Unboxing Teen Pop Culture Book Boxes
Teen Pop Culture Book Boxes are here and we're going to be unboxing our very first one! This month's theme is Romance like Emily Henry's People We Meet On Vacation whose film adaptation was just released on Netflix. What's a book box? A book box is available for teens to sign up for - they'll check out the box and get to keep everything that's inside apart from the library book. The box is due back in two weeks, and the library book is due back in three. Now, let's get into what's inside!
Our book boxes are custom to you, so as part of the registration process we'll ask if you want a book that's on theme for that month's book box, and if so we'll ask what you like from a book.
This teen reader let us know that they love Emily Henry and straight up rom-coms, so we wanted to supply them with a book from one of our favorite YA authors, K.L. Walther, and went with the book Maybe Meant to Be. Other teens said they liked mysteries, or graphic novels, so we do our research and find a rom-com that will fill their wants! We also supply a bibliography with other similar books to the month's theme.
Who doesn't love to curl up with a book and a warm beverage and snack? All of our boxes will have snacks and a drink, but to go with this month's rom-com theme, we have strawberry chocolate tea and a raspberry chocolate wafer cookie!
Each book box with also have vinyl stickers galore, plus a trinket or two.
Lastly, we'll also always include a few bookish accessories. This month's teens will get a elastic pen holder (pen included) to wrap around your book, heart shaped sticky notes, and a leather heart shaped corner bookmark.
Our book boxes will be available for our teen patrons every other month and will be centered around a pop culture phenomena! Have questions or suggestions?
