The Commerce Township Community library is now offering books by mail to patrons who are unable to come to the library for reasons of health, mobility, disability, or other permanent or temporary incapacity. Only qualifying residents of Commerce Township/Wolverine Lake are eligible for this free service. A library card is also required.

Materials can be requested using the online form by title, author, or subject. Readers’ advisory librarians are on staff to select materials you specifically request, or can make selections based on your preferences (such as mysteries, historical fiction, westerns, etc.). Only books and large print books owned by the Commerce Township Community Library are currently offered by the books by mail service.

You may check out up to 3 items at a time, and keep them for 6 weeks. You may be contacted by phone or letter if your items are significantly overdue, lost, or damaged.

The US Postal Service will deliver your items to you in a reusable blue bag. When you are finished with your books, place them back in the back and turn the label around in the pocket. Place the bag -wherever your mail is picked up and the USPS will collect it and return it to the library free of charge.
