The Charter Township of Commerce is governed by the Township Board which are elected by the people. The Township Board is comprised of seven members; Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and four Trustees. The Supervisor chairs the Township Board meetings and the Board appoints a Township Manager to oversee Township operations.
