Commerce Township will begin construction of a water main and sanitary sewer project along Sleeth Road starting around March 20, 2023. This project will involve the construction of approximately 7,300 feet of water main and 8,200 feet of sanitary sewer & appurtenances as well as a new pump station along Sleeth Road between Juniper Drive and Car Drive.
The majority of the project will be installed by directional drill method in order to minimize disruption. All disturbed areas will be restored immediately following construction. The project will take approximately 4-6 months to complete, and may involve temporary traffic control within the project boundaries throughout the duration of the project.
